Free dynamic QR codes you can change after printing.
A dynamic QR code opens a short link, so you can change where it goes after it's printed.
Free for up to 25 links. No trial that ends, no watermark.
Static codeThe final address itself
- Change where it goes: Nocafe‑lumen.example.com/menu
Dynamic codeA short link that sends people on
- ni.run/menu
- Change where it goes: Yes, any timecafe‑lumen.example.com/menu
What a dynamic QR code is
A dynamic QR code holds a short link, such as ni.run/menu, instead of your final address. Someone scans it, and the short link sends them on to the page you chose. A café, for example, points the code on its tables at the summer menu, then at the autumn menu on October 1.
ni.run/menu goes to
Same printed code. New menu.
Static or dynamic
| What it is | Static code | Dynamic code |
|---|---|---|
Count scans | No | Yes, as clicks on the link |
Stops working if | The page it points to goes away | The page goes away, or the service switches the link off |
What Nimbli's free plan gives
- 25 links, across the teams you own
- Colors and a logo on your QR codes
- Click counts for each link
- Up to 3 people in each team
- The API and the AI-assistant connector
We won't switch off a link because it's on the free plan: that is Our promise. Some other services give free dynamic codes too; see them side by side.
When Pro is worth it
Pro is $6 a month or $60 a year, plus tax where it applies. It holds 250 links across your teams and up to 10 people in each team, and 2 custom domains, so your codes can open an address of your own, such as go.yourcafe.com/menu. It is worth it if you pass 25 links, work with more than 3 people, or want your own address on your codes. If none of that is you, the free plan is enough.
If Pro ends, your teams go back to the free plan and every link keeps working; links on a custom domain show a short Nimbli step after 30 days. See Pricing.
